A closer look at the lighthouse print, with a few tips for choosing a frame and printing at home.

The fishing boat is the bright spot in this watercolour. The lighthouse sits farther back, giving the scene a sense of distance. A plain frame lets both details show without competing with the painting.
Print to suit the frame
Measure the mount opening if the frame has one. Choose the corresponding file size from the Etsy listing. When printing a file already sized for the frame, try Actual Size or 100% in the print dialog and check the preview for clipping.
Try it in the room
If you’re deciding where to hang it, tape a sheet of paper the size of the frame to the wall first. It’s an easy way to see whether you’d like a small accent print or a larger piece.
